By accessing and using TruePolicy ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

TruePolicy is an agent discovery platform that connects customers seeking insurance services with verified IRDAI-licensed insurance agents. We provide a directory and lead-routing service. We do not sell, underwrite, distribute, or facilitate the purchase of any insurance product. We do not earn commission on policies sold by listed agents.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform
• Insurance agents must hold valid licenses issued by IRDAI
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

Registration Fee

A one-time non-refundable registration fee of ₹9 is charged at agent signup. This fee covers IRDAI license verification, KYC document review, and grants you a free basic listing on the directory. If verification fails for reasons outside your control, we will refund the fee in full within 7 working days.

Registration Requirements

• Valid IRDAI-issued insurance agent license
• Accurate professional and contact information
• KYC documents as requested (license, address proof, photo)
• Agreement to maintain profile accuracy

Verification Process

All agent profiles undergo manual or automated verification. We reserve the right to reject or remove profiles that do not meet our standards or violate these terms.

TruePolicy offers optional paid subscription tiers ("Pro", "Elite") which unlock premium features including priority ranking, profile enhancements, inquiry forms, and analytics. Subscription terms, including pricing and benefits, are presented at the time of purchase.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
• You may cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy
• We may modify subscription features with reasonable notice

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate IRDAI regulations or any applicable laws
• Engage in harassment, spam, or abusive behavior
• Attempt to interfere with the Platform's security or functionality
• Use automated systems (scrapers, bots) to access the Platform without permission
• Collect user or agent data without consent
• Misrepresent your IRDAI license status or expiry

All content on TruePolicy — including text, graphics, logos, software, and aggregated agent listings — is the property of TruePolicy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Agent profile photos and content remain the property of the respective agent, who grants TruePolicy a license to display them on the Platform.

Service "As Is"

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

No Liability for Agent Actions

We are not responsible for the actions, advice, recommendations, or services provided by insurance agents listed on our Platform. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of agent services or any insurance product they sell. Any transaction or policy is strictly between you and the agent (and the underlying insurance company).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruePolicy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold TruePolicy harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any other reason we deem appropriate.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
